Potentially of interest to those in this group:

The Journal of Librarianship and Scholarly Communication just put out a call for contributors to its “Brief Reviews of Books and Products” section, which “provides a forum for description and critical evaluation of the quality, effectiveness, and value of recent books or products.”

If you don’t receive announcements from JLSC but would like to, you can sign up to receive them.
