    LACUNY Instruction Roundtable – Embedded Librarianship in Action at CUNY.

    When: Friday, September 23rd at 3:30, we’ll have an organizational meeting, and our roundtable event will run from 4pm-5pm.

    Where: at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, 219 W 40th Street, 3rd Floor, Room 308

    Join us for refreshments, and three presentations followed by conversation about our experiences, problems, and solutions focused on Embedded Librarianship.
    • Nora Almeida from City Tech, and chair of OLS’ Library/Blackboard Working Group, will discuss her Embedded Librarianship Study, and some of the work that the BBWG has been doing.
    • Ann Matsuuchi from LaGuardia Community College will tell us about her experiences as an embedded librarian working with archivists and teaching faculty utilizing Wikipedia in the classroom.
    • Barbara Gray from the J-School will talk about her school’s program of embedding librarians in two-semesters of its core curriculum.
