[Nicole Pena]

Hi! My name is Nicole and I was named by my parents and ‘Nicole” is a very common name in my country (Dominican Republic).  This is me second semester at BMCC- as a Human Services major. To answer one of the interview questions “What are you most proud of?”- well I am honestly (at this point in time) most proud of myself for having even applied to college! Ive always had an on and off relationship with school ..mentally. Although school is a very important aspect in my family due to the fact that almost no one in my family has graduated all of highschool or even went to college- I am now the second in my family yo have attended college and will be the second to accomplish!
