Alex Gil started the topic April 4: Michael Sinatra lecture at the
Studio@Butler in the forum NYCDH Announcements:
Dear all,
Next Tuesday, April 4, 2-:3:30pm, we are honored to welcome Michael
Sinatra, from l’Université de Montréal, to the Studio@Butler.
Prof. Sinatra promises to delight and instruct us on “Leigh Hunt, Textual
Studies, and Digital Humanities.” Sinatra has been working in digital
humanities for more than a decade, and has done outstanding digital work on
19th century British literature and historical figures. He has been
currently named co-Director of NINES and is the author of Leigh Hunt and
the London Literary Scene from Routledge.
His talk in particular will be of interest to those of you working on
digital editions, literary networks, reception history, the Romantic
period, or computer-aided literary analysis in general. I hope you will be
able to come, and encourage your students and colleagues to do so as well.
Please let me know if you’re coming from outside Columbia University by
Monday, April 3, so I can get you on the RSVP list.
Onward,
Alex
