NYCDH Week is two weeks away!

The 3rd Annual NYCDH Week is coming to an institution near you from February 5-9. Filled with talks, roundtables, networking, and probably the most impressive array of FREE workshops known to DH-kind, NYCDH Week gives individuals across the region an opportunity to learn new techniques and skills, meet new people, and make new connections.

New this year: Bring your DH project to the morning session (9:30-11:00) for consultation and critiques from experienced DHers. Don’t have a project? Attend informational sessions on various DH tools. A light breakfast will be available.

    Time to Start Registering!

Registration for the NYCDH Week 2018 Kickoff Event is now open! Register by using the RSVP tool at the bottom of the page. Registration for workshops will be open soon.

    Birds-of-a-Feather Lunches

Our kick-off event will once again include community lunches built around common interests. During lunch, DHWeek participants are encouraged to join a bird-of-a-feather group at a neighborhood restaurant or in the University cafeteria downstairs. Sign-up sheets coming soon!

Kelly Baker Josephs to Deliver Keynote Address

We are proud to announce that Dr. Kelly Baker Josephs will deliver this year’s keynote address on February 5th. Dr. Josephs is Associate Professor of English at York College, CUNY. She is the author of Disturbers of the Peace: Representations of Insanity in Anglophone Caribbean Literature (2013), editor of sx salon: a small axe literary platform, and manager of The Caribbean Commons website. Her current project, “Caribbean Articulations: Storytelling in a Digital Age,” explores the intersections between new technologies and Caribbean cultural production.

We hope to see you there!
