    *FLETCHER JONES FOUNDATION SCHOLAR IN COMPUTATION BEGINNING ACADEMIC YEAR
    2019-20*

    Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong
    interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for the Fletcher Jones
    Foundation Scholar in Computation to begin in the 2019-20 academic year.
    This is a multi-disciplinary search, which includes media studies. The
    teaching load is four courses annually plus senior thesis advising. Courses
    taught will include introductory level computer science and upper-division
    classes within the scholar’s discipline, that are also intended to count
    towards the computer science major housed at the Claremont Colleges. This
    position is non-tenure track and is limited to six years. Ph.D. and/or
    M.F.A, teaching experience, and scholarly production are required.
    Preference will be given to applicants with a commitment to the College’s
    goal of improving higher education for underrepresented students.
