Trevor Day School (www.trevor.org) is seeking a digital humanities
specialist to provide a demonstration of Carto’s mapping platform to three
sections of 9th grade Exploring Computer Science students (16-18
students/class) and a team of faculty/staff (6-10 adults) working on
digital humanities initiatives in the high school curriculum. These
demonstrations would consist of 4 one-hour meeting times during the school
day in mid-late October; three of those meetings will be with different
sections of 9th graders and one of those meetings will be with the staff so
that they too can learn the platform.

The ideal instructor will be an engaging presenter for high school
students, able to effectively introduce the tool at an introductory level
such that participants may leave the 50-minute class with the ability to
independently begin using the platform at an introductory level.
Compensation will be $100/hour session (arriving 5-10 minutes prior to the
start of class and the 50-minute class). If the sessions are effective,
there are likely to be future opportunities to demo other platforms at the
    same compensation level.

If you have any questions, please contact Karyn Delay at
    kdelay@gradcenter.cuny/edu or kdelay@trevor.org

    Thank you for your consideration!
