Hi – Just saw this course posted on METRO (http://metro.org/index.php?option=com_jcalpro&view=calendar&Itemid=570), if anyone is interested:

Introduction to Digital Humanities for Libraries, Archives and Special Collections ($15)
    Thursday, November 18, 2010 – 12 noon to 2:00 pm
Location: NARA NYC Offices at 201 Varick Street, 12th floor
    Instructor: Amanda French
    – In this session, participants will learn what “digital humanities” is, discuss its primary resources, and learn that they must ask themselves one important question: Am I a digital humanist? This event will also include a presentation from National Archives and Records Administration staff on digital initiatives at NARA.

Thanks for posting this, Scott. Amanda is a friend, and I very much recommend this session to anyone interested in the topic.
