As one of the special issue editors for Harlot’s most recent issue on family rhetoric, I encourage you to take a gander at the insightful and engaging pieces in this issue. Harlot: A Revealing Look at the Arts of Persuasion is an online journal that seeks to bridge the academic/public divide by publishing smart, accessible (and often multimedia) explorations of rhetoric in every day life. Please consider submitting some of your own work and/or encouraging your students to submit their work. The next issue (to be published Oct. 15th) is a general issue, so it’s open to all topics.
