    Contemporary Issues in
    Composition Studies
    May 31 – July 7 Tu/Th 1:30-4:55pm

    This course investigates themes that have received considerable
    attention in composition and rhetoric scholarship over the past
    two decades. Subject areas to be addressed in class include
    critical university studies, disciplinarity, post-process theory,
    ecocomposition, and writing and new media. Students may also
    explore supplementary topics such as rhetorics of diversity,
    multimodal literacy, writing across the curriculum, assessment,
    “going public,” plagiarism, or service learning.
