Lehman College 2nd Annual Faculty Technology Demonstration Day

    The Department of Undergraduate Studies and Online Education at Lehman College invites you to register for its 2nd Annual Faculty Technology Demonstration Day: Blending with Purpose, on Friday May 4, 2012. Keynote introduction by Dr. Anthony Picciano, professor and executive officer at the CUNY Graduate center who will speak about his Blended with Purpose, hybrid teaching model.

    Faculty and leaders representing a number of disciplines from the humanities to the sciences will present their own creative methods for Blending with Purpose: pedagogical strategies and techniques that represent exemplary practice in classroom, hybrid and online teaching here at Lehman, so do make a plan to join us!

    Attached is the most updated version of our conference program. I’ve also attached a copy of our latest Spring newsletter- it serves as a promotional vehicle for the event and there are limited spaces for CUNY faculty and staff who can register simply by clicking on the links in the newsletter.

    Steve will provide us with an introduction to the new Blackboard version 9.1. At the start of the first Summer 2012 semester, students and faculty will be upgraded to the latest version of Blackboard. This this demonstration will be a first-look at the new learning platform.
