Hi Everyone,
It turns out that this whole eating-pizza-on-a-schedule thing was too radical a concept for us to grasp right away . . . and so we completely missed our September 2nd outing to DiFara’s! We’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again.
I’d like to propose that we reschedule that DiFara’s trip for Thursday, Sept. 16. Any objections?
Two other notes:
We haven’t received much feedback about that open date on November 4. Since our theme is “old school,” and since we haven’t made a proper trip to Totonno’s in Coney Island, I think we should head out there before winter really sets in.
Finally, we’ve had some calls for a CUNY Pie trip to New Jersey. This Saturday, a few CUNY Pie members will be heading to Star Tavern and Pizzeria in Orange at 6:30. If you’re in the area or want to see what NJ pizza is all about, I hope you’ll consider joining us. Families welcome! And if you need help with transportation, please respond to this comment thread or get in touch via email.
