AAEEBL’s fourth annual conference coincides with a blossoming of the eportfolio field, community and technology development. We can see many signs that eportfolio, as an idea and movement, is “coming of age.” Therefore, our Program Committee for the 2013 Conference chose this title:
The ePortfolio Field Coming of Age: Knowledge, Research and Practice
Accordingly, we chose to feature some of the best-known eportfolio leaders to lead our keynote sessions: Randy Bass of Georgetown University, Bret Eynon of LaGuardia Community College, Helen Chen of Stanford University, Gary Brown of Portland State University, and Tracy Penny-Light of St. Jerome’s College at Waterloo University.
Please save the date, but even more importantly: submit a proposal to be a part of AAEEBL’s premier event of the year. The deadline is February 15, 2013 so now is a good time to put together the proposal, given the academic cycle.
I look forward to seeing you in Boston in July; and invite you to submit a proposal for a session.
