As colleges and universities face more scrutiny and critiques under the guise of “freedom of speech” and diversity terms are co-opted beyond recognition, it is more important than ever that faculty reevaluate their subject positions in the classroom and reconsider teaching practices that need to be reoriented for contemporary students.
