Brecht on Brecht//Müller on Müller

Join us for the season opener of The Segal Theatre Center. After two and a half years of Zoom talks and performances, The Segal Center will present its first live event, an improvisation inspired by George Tabori’s legendary Brecht on Brecht collage. Poems, songs and play excerpts from Brecht about war, refugees, and singing about dark times are mixed with writings from Heiner Müller about theatre, America, capitalism and the end of revolutions. Readings by Ben Becher, Josefina Scaro, Laura Esterman, Frank Hentschker, and Tony Torn. Music by The Third Man Band, featuring Talia Rosenthal and Eliana Shapere.
