This image reminds me of “The Yellow Wallpaper”, or at least the woman that the narrator describes that is creeping through the wallpaper. This image itself creeps a little, well, it seems a little disturbing to me, because of the shadow of a woman creeping on the wallpaper. The same feeling that this image evoked from me, the book did it as well. The narrator describing how “she likes creeping around” after her mental break down, really disturbed me because she abruptly acquired another personality because of all her repressed feelings. And, how I could see that these “repressed feelings” can lead a person to hit rock bottom in regards of metal health, and possibly this story could have exaggerated it a bit, or simply not because mental health is very fragile and can be wrecked in such a short notice.
