Research Essay : Gun Control
Mass shootings, unsurprisingly, run the public discussion on gun violence. But as terrible as these massacres exist, by most counts they constitute not as much as 1% of all shot homicides. Usa’s high rate of gun murders isn’t caused by events like Sandy Hook or the shootings that happen in the community college in Oregon. It’s filled by the continual drumbeat of deaths of black men. Is that the time when the opinions of guns shift?
