    Hello everyone!

Thank you for checking out/joining our new group of CUNY scholars dedicated to anti-racism across the university system. The CUNY Academic Commons team recently released a statement regarding how we continue to stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and how we as a community platform plan to commit ourselves to fostering safe and equitable online learning spaces. The purpose of this group is to have a space where members can share information on events, projects/research, positions, and other opportunities to connect with other CUNY scholars and take action against the injustices affecting our students, faculty, and staff alike.

We encourage you to share this page with members of your respective campus communities as we build a strong foundation for combatting these inequities. As people begin to share opportunities, the Commons team will do their part to amplify these posts to our wide audience.

Thank you, all! We’re looking forward to seeing this come together!

Thank you so much for getting this conversation going, Anthony! Here are a few CUNY projects that have a focus on anti-racism:

    Abolition Science
    https://www.abolitionscience.org/
Abolition Science is an abolitionist project that envisions a science and math delinked from racial capitalism, imperialism, and oppression – a science and math that serves all people.

    Equality Archive
    http://equalityarchive.com/
Equality Archive is a reliable source for the history of sex and gender equality in the United States. It is a theater for history and social justice with the goal to provide a forum for curious people.
