    Hello everyone,

In-lieu of a conference that we had planned at Cornell in April, we’re running an intro to QGIS webinar this Friday May 15 from 10am-11am via Zoom. The intended audience are NY state and local government GIS practitioners, as well as Cornell and CUNY / SUNY students and professors who have some familiarity with GIS but wanted to learn more about open source options like QGIS. Details and a link to register are below, anyone is welcome to attend.

    Best – Frank

Do you want to learn more about QGIS, the free and open source software for mapping and geospatial analysts? This one-hour webinar will present several quick demos to help you get started with QGIS, followed by a panel Q&A, including special guest Kurt Menke, the author of several books about QGIS.
