Nancy and I went a-searchin’, and we’d like to discuss these articles (both OA) for the “article club” portion of the December 19 meeting (2:30-4:30pm; likely at the GC, pending room availability):

• 20 Years of Persistent Identifiers – Which Systems are Here to Stay? by Jens Klump and Robert Huber
• Using ORCID, DOI, and Other Open Identifiers in Research Evaluation by Laurel L. Haak, Alice Meadows, and Josh Brown

Choosing these does not necessarily mean endorsement! We’re hoping there will be a robust conversation, including some debate and dissent.
