See below for information about a part-time work opportunity:

We are excited to announce an opening for an intern/consultant on a short term assignment for the Peace and Social Change Fellowship.

The opportunity is part of the as part of a CUNY sub-grant, led by Professor Michelle Fine, Dept of Critical Social/Personalty Psychology and the Public Science Project at the Graduate Center, CUNY.

The fellowship brings together women from five countries (Kenya, South Sudan, Ghana, Cameroon and Zimbabwe) doing wonderful work to promote peace in their respective contexts in powerful and inspirational ways. Based on their requests, we are working with the activists to put together three or four taped video lectures/webinars (20-25 mins) around the following themes:

    1.  Monitoring and Evaluation practices

    2. Support with websites, and other communication strategies used by your organization

    3. Documentation strategies that are effective and aligned with your organization’s mission and vision

We are presently looking for someone who is passionate about work in social justice and has skills in designing and editing videos and webinars and/or can provide inputs for webinar 2 on website design, using social media for advocacy.

This is a short term assignment (most of the work will be spread across end of March/April/early may), flexible, collaborative and with tremendous possibilities for creative expression.

Remuneration will be on an hourly basis. Total duration of assignment 40-50 hours (negotiable).

To express interest and apply, email Critical Social/Personality Psychology Research Assistants Varnica Arora (varnicaarora@gmail.com) and Loren Cahill (lorenscahill@gmail.com).
