Hi all,
OpenCUNY is hosting two events in the coming weeks on teaching portfolios & CVs. We hope to see some of our friends and colleagues at these events; feel free to forward these notices to interested parties.
Best,
Maggie, on behalf of the OpenCUNY Team
Beyond the Blog: Making Your (Digital) Teaching Portfolio
When? Friday, April 25th, 4-6pm
Where? The Graduate Center, Room 7209
Please RSVP through event post @ OpenCUNY.org/Events
How can you connect your pedagogy to your digital presence?
What is a Teaching Portfolio?
How can you use digital tools to enhance your teaching portfolio?
Join OpenCUNY, the Mina Rees librarians, and fellow students and OpenCUNY participants to think about and discuss what it means to look “beyond the blog” and consider all the many ways we can digitally represent ourselves online. At the next event in the “Beyond the Blog Series” we will focus on creating and maintaining a teaching portfolio. We will be joined by Julia Jordan, a faculty member and acting director of the Faculty Commons at City Tech. Julia organizes a bi-yearly, four-day conference on teaching portfolios for faculty members at her institution and so we are looking forward to the opportunity to learn and discuss with her.
Beyond the Blog: Digitizing your CV

We will be hosting our final event in the Beyond the Blog Series on May 2nd focusing on incorporating your CV into your digital presence.
