ABOUT ME

I have received my BA in linguistics and MA in Applied linguistics from Montclair State University, New Jersey. During my Master’s studies, I became interested in bilingualism and second language acquisition. I have conducted research in educational applications of Natural language Processing and automatic second language learner error identification.
I have decided to switch my focus from Computational Linguistics to child language impairments, because I believe this choice has more meaning for me and matches better my career goals. I joined Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the Graduate Center, CUNY in Fall 2013.
When I have free time, I enjoy reading, skiing and biking.
