Spatial regression modeling of drivers of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The causes and regimes of GHG emissions are spatially and path dependent. This research is trying to identify the regionally varying factors to advise policy makers on the most effective measures to combat GHGs.
Neighborhood-level behavioral modeling of environmental stressors in New York City.
Locally differing exposure to a range of social, environmental, economic and structural stressors are sought to explain varying degrees of aberrant behaviors. This study employs a large number of variables of variable spatial resolution to discern the systemic character of neighborhood-level stressors.
GIS program management.
Collection and analysis of best practices for a wide range of different sized and resourced organizations. This work is foundational to the development of a national effort for the certification of GIS managers and the accreditation of GIS programs.
