Boyan Slavtchev Kostadinov

I teach mathematics at CUNY.

Boyan Slavtchev Kostadinov received his PhD in mathematics from UCLA. His main interests are computational thinking in STEM education, data science and predictive analytics, applied Fourier analysis, financial mathematics and quantitative literacy through mathematical modeling.

Academic Interests

My main interests cover Computational Thinking in STEM Education, Quantitative Literacy, Data Science and Visualization, Monte Carlo Simulations, Stochastic Modeling, Financial Mathematics, Applied Fourier Analysis, 3D modeling and 3D printing. I am always looking for ways to understand, present and explain advanced mathematical concepts through visualizations, animations and interactive computer simulations that build intuition and conceptual understanding.
