SPS Marketing Minor Workgroup
SPS is interested in creating a marketing minor for its business students. This AC group has been created to share ideas via the AC platform.
It is a closed group that requires registration.

Hello Marketing Faculty,
We are in the process of creating minors for our students. A minor is a related set of 4 courses (maximum, although we are looking for 4 course groups at the moment) that students who are not majoring in that area could take.
Since we don’t have a marketing major, our general business students could take the marketing minor.
But so can students in our other online degrees: Psychology, Sociology, Communication & Culture (which is evolving into a Communications/Media major), Health Information Management and Disability Studies.
If you are interested in putting something together, please let me know. I’ll assign a chair, and you would then work together. You can package existing courses, create new courses, and/or take courses from the other majors if they are relevant. The current bulletin can be found at
