Another update for our program on 3/22: Professor Kate Parry, English Dept., Hunter College has agreed to participate on the panel as well. Professor Parry is a co-director of the organization FAVL (Friends of African Village Libraries) and has helped set up community libraries in East Africa.

Fall organizational meeting now confirmed for Friday, October 12, from 2-4pm, at Hunter College’s Wexler Library, Room E-114. New attendees welcome. This meeting is to review past activities and discuss potential topics for future programs.
