    The LACUNY Emerging Technologies Committee invites you to our October workshop:

    HTML & CSS for Library Websites
    Date: Friday, Oct. 10, 10am-1pm
    Location: Graduate Center, Computer lab C196.02
    Leaders: Allie Verbovetskaya (OLS), Robin Davis (John Jay)

    Learn or review the basics of HTML and CSS in the context of common library web services. We’ll walk you through customizing search boxes, including OneSearch, on your library website. You’ll be provided with easily editable bundles of code and step-by-step instructions. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be prepared to implement lovely-looking search boxes & forms on your website and will have a better understanding of HTML and CSS basics.

    This workshop is for:
    * Librarians looking to learn web design basics. No prior experience necessary.
    * Librarians who want to know how they can update search boxes & other forms on their websites
