Hello! I am wondering if anyone is familiar with workshops or tutorials at CUNY that provide instruction in using SPSS? I realize CUNY’s been cutting back on this sort of thing in the budget, so I’m curious if you have found other solutions for learning this technology. Thanks!!

    Hi Anders,

The library is offering a beginner and an advanced workshop on SPSS this spring. Description and RSVP link below:

    Basic SPSS – 3/6, 6.30-8 pm
This class will give a general overview of the SPSS statistical package: What is it? What can it do? What do you need to know to get started with it?

    Advanced SPSS, 3/26, 6.30
This hands-on workshop will cover SPSS in more depth: How do you enter and explore data with SPSS? How do you manage and analyze your data? If you are not sure whether SPSS is right for your project, consider attending the Basic SPSS class first.

    Quick response Amy!
Anders, here are all of the library trainings this semester in case you have any additional workshop needs (or want to tell your friends).

There are talks of the creation of a GC-wide calendar of trainings and workshops open to all. Stay-tuned for that.
