Sent out by Jen Tang – for those of you who didn’t read it and can’t attend in Boston next weekend, there were a couple of links to good pedagogy tools (or even for us grad students that I would like to highlight).

Citelighter – sort of like a light citation manager, but for automatically generating bibliographies off material found on the internet (e.g. newspapers, wikipedia….can also be used for articles as long as they are opened and read in the browser..automatically generates APA/MLA/Chicago style bibliography. All it is is a toolbar extension in your web browser. Good way to introduce your students to proper citation without making them work too hard! http://www.citelighter.com/projects

Also saw Scratch (http://vimeo.com/65583694) and ScratchED (http://scratched.media.mit.edu/) for creating animated visual aids, but have not checked into it yet.

    Conference website is: http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/doc/13am/friday.csp
