John MacFarlane, (http://johnmacfarlane.net/) chair of the philosophy
department at the University of California, Berkeley and author of numerous
pieces of software for humanities research, is visiting the Group for
Experimental Methods in the Humanities (http://xpmeth.plaintext.io/). He
will give a presentation on Pandoc, a tool for authoring academic documents
using plain text, and lead a workshop on writing filters for Pandoc.
The event will take place next Wednesday, March 25 at Columbia’s Butler
Library, room 208b, 4:30p.
All are welcome!
