Emily Sherwood started the topic Bucknell Digital Scholarship Conference
and Pre-Conference Summit in the forum NYCDH Announcements
“#BUDSC16: Registration is open for the Bucknell Digital Scholarship
Conference, “Negotiating Borders through Digital Collaboration” (Oct 28-30,
2016). The schedule has been posted and we are excited to announce our
keynote speakers, Dr. Tressie McMillan Cottom (Virginia Commonwealth
University) and Dr. Safiya Noble (UCLA).
Pre-Conference Summit: We are currently accepting applications for our
Pre-Conference Summit (Oct 26-28). Participants will broach questions, such
as: Where does digital scholarship live? Does it matter where digital
scholarship lives? Are institutions duplicating positions or expecting
departments to do the work often done in another area? How are librarians,
instructional technologists, and other digital scholarship professionals
working to break down barriers between and amongst one another?
