organized by the History in Action series in the History Department at
Columbia University.

“History, Race, and Digital Humanities” with ASU Professor Matt Delmont
Join Arizona State History professor Matt Delmont for a demo and discussion
of Scalar, a multimedia web-authoring platform. Professor Delmont will
talk about using Scalar to create companion websites for his book projects
on American Bandstand, busing for school desegregation, and Roots, as well
as his current digital history project, Black Quotidian: Everyday History
in African-American Newspapers.
Light lunch will be served. Co-sponsored by the Studio@Butler and History
in Action, an AHA-Mellon Career Diversity Initiative Pilot Program.
