Forwarding on behalf of Jessica Siegel:
The Brooklyn College Listening Project, a interdisciplinary oral history and community interview project, is looking for a designer to help us develop a website based on some of the 350 oral histories our students have done with Brooklyn residents around issues of immigration, gentrification, identity, race, neighborhood change, political activism and other topics. The website will utilize audio, text, photographs and art and connect to the digital archive. We are looking for a creative designer who can help us bring our students’ work to a larger audience and give them a sense of the real Brooklyn. We have some limited funding and the payment is negotiable. We hope to have it launched by the end of the year. Contact Jessica Siegel: jsiegel@brooklyn.cuny.edu
