This fall/winter has been a great time to see Yellow-breated Chats in NYC. I have seen several birds so far. In November there was one pretty active in Central Park (Maintenance Meadow in the Ramble), we had two specimens in Bryant Park on 42 St (one died in December, the other still there) and more recently (since early January) there has been another one pretty active in Union Square. This one is very bright and it has wonderful markings. I took a few pictures of the Chat that is living in Union Square today.
